A Gathering of Eagles

Channeling led me to incorporate new methods of awareness and insight into my daily living. I became interested in the messages of totem animals and earth spirits.

A constant presence during the initial transition into a more intuitive state of being was a Native American spirit guide named Joseph. He had been present prior to the channeling but the connection was much stronger afterward.

One of the most compelling books I have ever read about Native American Wisdom was Rolling Thunder. I also felt drawn to the author Doug Boyd and thought I might seek him out for an interview one day.

He apparently had other plans; he died a couple of years ago. However, through a round about series of events, I was put in touch with the woman to whom he passed the torch to carry on yearly gatherings of Native American elders. Their meeting is this weekend. Julie Strauss and I will talk about the highlights - the background, and then I would like to offer updates or other related topics in the future.
