British writer and journalist Graham Hancock, in this audio clip, - talks about visions and such and alludes to the use of psychotropic drugs... and while I understand that has been effective and helpful in terms of getting some scientists from point a to point b... the most amazing thing is to develop your ability to manage the same effect without the drug...then the results are 24/7 and you have the ability to fine tune it. Drugs interfere with that ability. The body is at the mercy of the influencing chemical.
Then again, I had the benefit of a metaphysical, conscious awakening and that gives me a different perspective. I know visions and altered states can be done without drugs.
