When in the presence of the unknown,
Fear inhibits. Curiosity liberates!
Curiosity opens a channel to allow a life-giving, energy stream. Where we go from there is determined by what we have programmed as a pre-set, natural course of response and that which has been programmed into the soul essence prior to this manifest engagement. Past-life plays a part. Know it or not.
There is no substitute for experience. Unfortunately, encountering the new/unknown negates the possibility of having a prior established method of engagement or a reliable mind-set of appropriate responses. It forces us to come to terms with who and what we are in our heart and act in accord with that. The authentic in who we are at present is given up in that demonstration of re/action.
If and when we desire better or more advantageous and life-supporting outcomes to our encounters - we are challenged to continue upgrading our re/actions on a daily basis.
We are the product of our creations - good - bad - neutral - intended - unexpected. And no matter how rough, landing is not an ending. Each Life/Death becomes a ribbon of us - as the larger part our being, that which is home to the soul, is learning how to fly.
- The first step is freeing the mind to think around, above, below and beyond: abstract. We have to force ourselves to remember to explore the potential motive/agenda before accepting a commonly held/default explanation or definition.
- The next step is in acknowledging, at its very best, human sight/insight is limited as a determining factor of reality. Emotion, perception and attitude cloud the view. Reality is far greater than we can imagine.
- The last step is to allow that all is a work in progress and in a state of constant change.
Stars -- we are -- and we are not -- and so we grow.
The more willing we are to invest in our ability to integrate new methods of learning, knowing and perceiving our beingness into our everyday practice, the better equipped we become at accessing awareness/reality through non-traditional and non-duality sources and resources.
The given: we are ill-equipped to see all that reality is presenting us. However, there is no failure in our efforts to try. Every breath offers a fresh start. And each experience, encounter provides a stepping stone on the learning curve.
Namaste!
