When Throwing out the Hurdles is Not an Option

It's all relative.


In my ongoing dialogue with the light energy over the past decade, I have learned that even when we are given access to information about the potential negative outcome of a future event - no matter how great the perceived personal loss - some events are not meant to be changed, as there is a greater purpose that we may or may not be privy to.

Takes a bit of the thrill out of knowing the future. The goal when one is given access, is to courageously engage heart and soul in the present - without trying to skirt the odds or shift them in your favor.

We are given access to information on negative future turns of events - not to avoid them or make them go away - but rather to prepare and develop the inner strength necessary to endure or even conquer them in knowing how high we will have to jump...or that we must learn how to take a fall.

The payoff is in the future we cannot see. And every moment of that future is created in our actions and reactions; it is the spirit of who we are becoming as we navigate our course. In addition to joy and wonderment, we are meant to endure challenges, obstacles, hardships, bumps and curves to help forge a stronger sense of connection with the soul. (Individual and Collective, the One.)

And in that sense, we are the payoff.

I have also learned it is easier to be objective about a future that one has no attachment to. The biggest battle we are here to engage in is the battle over the inherent emotional bias that comes with the package of being human.

Not everyone will win the first hand, nor can you tell who is ahead. Some cards are wild, some are dealt in a later hand, and some of us are playing an entirely different game. Makes for an incredible ride.

Live YOUR Truth

Wherever it comes from, that still, small voice has the power to transform your life and the lives of all those with whom you come in contact.

And yet, we are so afraid that voice is not worthy due to lack of volume and the fact that no one else can hear it that we permit the deafening voice of ego to dominate and dictate our life.

When we love, we lose fear and allow that even the smallest voice deserves to be heard.

Wisdom requires neither volume nor majority.

Reality Shifters - You Can

I've been working to set up ongoing interviews on Talking to Nightlights, similar to those I have scheduled for Conscious Living, and running across some wonderful people.

Upcoming guest (4/23, 1pm central time), Cynthia Sue Larson is a physicist who offers a unique perspective on reality that we can all tap into. Dealing with everything as energy, including us, she describes how we can shift our reality in the moment.

How will I know when I am ready?


When "I can't" isn't an option. "I Am" wakes up and starts living in the present tense rather than in past or future.

Inspiring films help us to affirm our path. What the Bleep and The Secret have helped to spark the equivalent of a chain reaction response to the quest for self-discovery.

Another film that helps to remind us that each has the power to jump start his conscious spiritual unfolding at any time is the Hay House movie You Can Heal Your Life.

Louise Hay is an amazing woman many seek out for spiritual support. She does not disappoint. Her focus is on the power of thought. And I agree. As you think, so you are. The Trailer.

You can HEAL your life. When you are ready, you will.

What does that mean?

It means you won't take "no" for an answer nor will you allow anyone else to determine your ability to heal.

You will assume responsibility for your Divine Spiritual Authority. Indeed, maybe you already have. Are you ready?

Say "I am." And so you are.

When that statement resonates within, your world will shift and all will be forever changed.

And so it is.

Opening to Light

As you think, so you are; As you dream, so you will become. - The Nightlights

The last thing I expected when I began the dialogue with the nightlight was a stronger connection to God - a stronger sense of the Divine. I thought my encounter must be some sort of paranormal manifestation because I had no knowledge of this kind of thing happening as a spiritual communique.

The discovery was a wonderful surprise and an affirmation that all is well. I am blessed with interactive nightlights. Other than the actual light, the energy is present in many shapes and forms.

I see God in the Light - each and every day. Separation is the illusion; and yet, as the physical body is separate in the many components of heart, blood, tissue and bone, all is well.

All is ONE.

Devil's Advocate - a Thought

When it comes to the Devil, stop blaming others and pay attention to your actions. Words are syrup and thoughts are prayers. Regardless of the syrup we pour - we wear our prayers.

Constant vigilance is required to manage thought; if we don't, the package turns sour. Even syrup has a shelf life. Wonderful book by Guy Finley: The Secret of Letting Go. It addresses the difference between Invited Guests and Unwanted Intruders (in regard to thoughts) ---

"Invited Guests - announce their arrival - know their place - act pleasant and polite - help when they can - keep calm - consider others - remain gracious - leave quietly - leave you feeling pleased about their presence. --- Unwanted Intruders - disguise their arrival using either stealth or brashness - think they should have more than what is offered - create a disturbance of some kind - take self-advantage of every situation - have an uncomfortable edge about them - insist everyone serve their wants - constantly complain that nothing is right - steal in one way or another - make you realize you are better off alone."

Allow no room for trash or unwanted intruders in your thoughts. Negatives are toxic and, if left to run unchecked for an extended length of time - fatal. Clean house.

The purpose of the negative is to convince you the world is toxic so you will not see it is the thought that is toxic and perpetuate that condition (in other words: feed it - give it your energy - spread it among others).

Why eradicate the world when you can eradicate the thought? The Devil indeed!

Taking the Lead

Some will ask that you do it with them; others will ask that you do it for them.

It is good to know the difference before you sign on for the ride.

It is the difference between a partner and a dictator, a companion and a servant.

When you are ready to know more, sit in the light.

Recognition - Akiane - God's Eyes

Here is a wonderful example of what happens when one is born into a supportive environment where adults are willing to suspend disbelief to allow the child to develop -- and to develop their own sense of the Divine.

Akiane's Mom was an atheist. But that didn't stop her from allowing Akiane to listen to what she heard and follow her heart.

God is wherever we are.

I have seen similar versions in visions of some of the things she paints. What a wonderful connection. I remember at one point in my early encounter with the night light energy and channeling, an awareness that I would agree to become - in a sense - married to God.
