Ongoing personal experiences with extraordinary and unexplained seen/unseen phenomena underscore my belief in a world abundant with wonders we haven't yet begun to fathom.

Experiencers, via their unique encounters, give us glimpses and clues to what potentials creation has yet to reveal when we are willing to listen to the call of the muse and curious enough to table our fear and explore the unknown inner and outer limits of being.

And the answers are there, teasing us in quirks, quarks and fantastic anomalies.

My proof
- and that is the whole point of this reality thing being very personal and unique to the individual experiencer - the light beside me goes off for a moment and then comes on again as I am composing this introduction, underscoring the "quirk" factor and the representation of the ever-present, unseen support in this adventure.

Thank you for your interest and for listening. I hope you enjoy the shows! - wendy ... and the nightlights ;)

The Beauty of Simplicity, Ottmar Liebert, Music

Spring cleaning ...

A fan for years. Picked up a guitar in a second-hand shop over the weekend. Don't know how to play but it felt wonderful to hold it and feel the vibration from the sound of the strings. I learned a short bit - the intro to smoke on the water - as a kid but I have always been too intimidated to do anything more. I learned the piano and the clarinet, passed on the guitar. I didn't have the passion for it. Maybe I love to listen more than I need to play. I do have the passion for that and I can relax without thinking I know anything about how it should be played. ...

Carolyn Cruso is wonderful on the Dulcimer: Magic Shirt. (Listen to her singing and guitar on Wandering but not Lost.) And for the harp ... Water Spirit from On the Wings of a Dove by Christine Grace Magnussen. Notice I seem to have a thing for strings...probably why IZ hits such a resonant chord for me with that unassuming ukulele...noted in an earlier post.

"Music itself is a great source of relaxation. Parts of it anyway. Working in the studio, that's not relaxing, but playing an instrument that I don't know how to play is unbelievably relaxing, because I don't have any pressure on me." - Jackson Browne
