Shows are daily at 9 pm central time

Conscious Living with Wendy Garrett is produced by Empower Radio and featured on empoweradio, iheart, itunes, stitcher and various independent youtube channels. Programs cover a wide range of Mind-Body-Spirit/Alternative Awareness/PSI topics, including: Consciousness, UFO, Metaphysics, Paranormal and Energy Medicine.

Ongoing personal experiences with extraordinary and unexplained seen/unseen phenomena underscore my belief in a world abundant with wonders we haven't yet begun to fathom.

Experiencers, via their unique encounters, give us glimpses and clues to what potentials creation has yet to reveal when we are willing to listen to the call of the muse and curious enough to table our fear and explore the unknown inner and outer limits of being.

And the answers are there, teasing us in quirks, quarks and fantastic anomalies.

My proof
- and that is the whole point of this reality thing being very personal and unique to the individual experiencer - the light beside me goes off for a moment and then comes on again as I am composing this introduction, underscoring the "quirk" factor and the representation of the ever-present, unseen support in this adventure.

Thank you for your interest and for listening. I hope you enjoy the shows! - wendy ... and the nightlights ;)

Kurt Vonnegut Jr. takes his leave

I leave to chase angels among the stars
but I don't ask that you follow me.
Rather, I hope to one day share with you what I found;
and in return,
you can regale me
with all that you discovered on the ground. - wendy

Source of incredible ideas, creative inspiration, non-conformist, free thinker. So it goes... Kurt Vonnegut Jr. has taken his leave... An inspiring mind adorned with a hefty bit of crust, I admired his unique perspective in bits and pieces. I found an absolutely wonderful commencement address listed with his obit. It seems to address this moment as well.

Here is the beginning: "There are three things that I very much want to say to the Class of 1994 in this brief hail and farewell. They are things which haven’t been said enough to you freshly minted graduates nor to your parents or guardians, nor to me, nor to your teachers. I will say these in the body of my speech, I’m just setting you up for this.

First, I will say thank you. Second, I will say I am truly sorry - now that is the striking novelty among the three. We live in a time when nobody ever seems to apologize for anything; they just weep and raise hell on the Oprah Winfrey Show. The third thing I want to say to you at some point - probably close to the end - is, ''We love you.'' Now if I fail to say any of those three things in the body of this great speech, hold up your hands, and I will remedy the deficiency." The rest is highly worth reading ........

I love the pretzel twist humor, kinship and embrace of community reflected in that piece. But I also wanted more content so I move on to his official site. And there it was ... No words ... Just lines .... Very well drawn. The picture says it all .... The bird is free. - What was - is His-story.

I think I use a version of his term ... "so it goes."... I am not sure if I should credit him ... or Linda Ellerbee ... "and so it goes." ... ... Maybe I need to adjust a bit for present tense to make it my own because I really don't know where, how, or if, it is going. And only vaguely, do I know this moment. But it is where I am.

I think now, out of respect for those who already tagged a wonderful bit of language, I will shift ... to allow the moment to reveal how it goes ... and what, if anything, is known. Kurt Vonngegut Jr. has taken his leave. Bon Voyage and Welcome Home! And so it is.
