Shows are daily at 9 pm central time

Conscious Living with Wendy Garrett is produced by Empower Radio and featured on empoweradio, iheart, itunes, stitcher and various independent youtube channels. Programs cover a wide range of Mind-Body-Spirit/Alternative Awareness/PSI topics, including: Consciousness, UFO, Metaphysics, Paranormal and Energy Medicine.

Ongoing personal experiences with extraordinary and unexplained seen/unseen phenomena underscore my belief in a world abundant with wonders we haven't yet begun to fathom.

Experiencers, via their unique encounters, give us glimpses and clues to what potentials creation has yet to reveal when we are willing to listen to the call of the muse and curious enough to table our fear and explore the unknown inner and outer limits of being.

And the answers are there, teasing us in quirks, quarks and fantastic anomalies.

My proof
- and that is the whole point of this reality thing being very personal and unique to the individual experiencer - the light beside me goes off for a moment and then comes on again as I am composing this introduction, underscoring the "quirk" factor and the representation of the ever-present, unseen support in this adventure.

Thank you for your interest and for listening. I hope you enjoy the shows! - wendy ... and the nightlights ;)

Spirit in Film, Finding New Keepers and Light Hearts

The biggest mistake people make in life is not trying to make a living at doing what they most enjoy. - Author: Malcolm S. Forbes

- Thank you Mr. Forbes. I have decided I have to figure out how I can make a living at laughing...

Four Summer Films to See...

1/Once - The movie I intend to own...an instant classic. I fell in love in less than 30 seconds. Maybe it was the music. More likely it is the soul. Once - Moviefone

"This movie is NOT currently playing in your area..." Thank God for Anticipation...how wonderful to look forward to de-light.

2/Sicko - Stirring up Controversy and Worth Seeing: (You'll find out what he did to tick off the Feds.) Michael Moore's "Sicko" - takes on the Health Care Industry in America as he continues to earn his rebel icon status and once again proves to be a perennial thorn to anyone who can't take the heat of a direct question. Sample Question: How do you get pre-approved for an ambulance ride? Sicko - Moviefone

3/License to Wed - And the guy from the Office (the other guy) - John Krasinski gets a great launch on the big screen. Doesn't hurt that Robin Williams is riding fully loaded in the shotgun seat... License to Wed - Moviefone

4/Waitress - Keri Russell sparkles...Waitress - Moviefone

Now, to be sure there are some fabulous serious dramatic entries...but I like to focus on the light fare with substance. Might have something to do with an early (I don't think the word is crush.) identification with Uncle Albert in Mary Poppins. Laughing makes you feel lighter than air....I wanted to be that guy!

More Mary Poppins Fans. Gives you a heads up on the keepers in my movie library. Like Peter Pan...this Wendy never wanted to grow up if it meant giving up the joy of play and laughter. The keepers also have Heart.
