First thing to do: Determine the output you hope to achieve. Second thing: (And some might argue this for number one.) Incorporate fun. Third thing: Engage your imagination and see what develops. Final thing could be Four if you haven't detoured or added karmic hi-jinx (No gossip, no delay, no judgment, no distraction, no doubt.): Get out of your way and create.
An old soul (deceased) most recently reassured me that one may succeed even in the most glorious of failings. See: Vincent Van Gogh. Those who know us in spirit and essence form celebrate our endeavor to become as we explore and expand in higher awareness. Evolution is encouraged in whatever fashion most resonant for each and every one. There are no mistakes - regardless of what the manifest realm might claim. (Opportunity.) Challenges and Changes seed growth.
Creator of The Wizard of Oz, Frank Baum, held claim to numerous failings and successes.
His delightfully creative tale was a huge success and a threat. At the time of his writing one was not supposed to encourage children to dream, play or have fun. Children's stories more often served as a vehicle for teachings on morals, values and lessons in social decorum.
Thrive or fail, the journey continues and each lives beyond this plane of re-creation to try another way.
Imagine being thrust into the manifest plane as an extraordinary negative spark of buzzy wonder, charged with the fully accessible complement of tools that will allow you to recover and reveal yourself via divine expression in development of authentically positive creation...

Dr. John Lerma shares an incredible story in his book, Into the Light.
Chapter 8, Page 115 - He talks about Father Mike and how very difficult it was to be present for him when he chose to endure rather than medicate his extreme pain.
Through it all however, Dr. Lerma and Father Mike talk about the experience and we are privy to insight gleaned via this very personal and very intentional process of surrender and acceptance of suffering as a journey of healing for a greater good.
Powerful story. One that leaves no doubt as to the magic, mystery and wonder of the miracles one can experience in the presence of the Angelic realm. Feathers rained from the ceiling when Father Mike transitioned. And he left with a smile. Read the story.
If and when you accomplish your mission, you will join the ranks of those who have fulfilled their role to the extent that they were given leave of the manifest realm in fully awakened state. Only when all is said and done and the objective achieved does one recover awareness of the number of full-bodied engagements that goal required. Even then, numbers are relative. Progress is key.
When you need time out for fuel or sustenance - dream, play, laugh, explore, wonder, relax, let go, create something. Live life out loud and, most of all, LOVE the incredible opportunity in the present. Extraordinary is beyond limit.

Life is truly a one of a kind expression of divine. So what if you can't see the light - Be delight and you're almost there. Smile.

Best news of the day: Millennials are seriously plugged into breaking molds and living life on their own terms. "We refuse to adhere to work schedules that don’t work. We refuse to allow the corporate culture to suffocate our creativity. We no longer see adulthood as the end of our childhood, but the beginning of something even more liberating."
Might be "The Wizard of Oz" planted a few seeds that required just the right soul attitude to sprout?
