Shows are daily at 9 pm central time

Conscious Living with Wendy Garrett is produced by Empower Radio and featured on empoweradio, iheart, itunes, stitcher and various independent youtube channels. Programs cover a wide range of Mind-Body-Spirit/Alternative Awareness/PSI topics, including: Consciousness, UFO, Metaphysics, Paranormal and Energy Medicine.

Ongoing personal experiences with extraordinary and unexplained seen/unseen phenomena underscore my belief in a world abundant with wonders we haven't yet begun to fathom.

Experiencers, via their unique encounters, give us glimpses and clues to what potentials creation has yet to reveal when we are willing to listen to the call of the muse and curious enough to table our fear and explore the unknown inner and outer limits of being.

And the answers are there, teasing us in quirks, quarks and fantastic anomalies.

My proof
- and that is the whole point of this reality thing being very personal and unique to the individual experiencer - the light beside me goes off for a moment and then comes on again as I am composing this introduction, underscoring the "quirk" factor and the representation of the ever-present, unseen support in this adventure.

Thank you for your interest and for listening. I hope you enjoy the shows! - wendy ... and the nightlights ;)

Anomaly checks in ... via water faucet

Let your hook be always cast. In the pool where you least expect it, will be fish. - Ovid quotes (Ancient Roman classical Poet and Author of Metamorphoses, 43 BC-17)

The wondrous is right here alongside us - silently waiting for us to become curious enough to stop accepting the status quo explanation for everything we experience and start doing our own evaluating to arrive at entirely new conclusions, not because the old explanations were wrong, rather, that we have grown beyond that former state of awareness and there are new applications now in play that offer a wider range of opportunities and potentials where none existed given the prior environmental and biological conditions.

For the past decade and a half, (since 1997) nightlights have been my constant source of curious; blinking and interacting and providing a visible source of affirmation for the presence of spirit and unseen others in our midst. Steadfast and constant, their reassurance and insistence that we are not alone.

Over the past month, another physical venue for that presence has been added to the equation. We now have extracurricular activity in the kitchen faucet water filter.

The dynamic began when we changed the last filter, it simply opted to run the red light and omit the green. The water was not running. This action happened without any external interaction.

Technically, a red light indication is not helpful if you follow the directions and green means the filter is working. We changed filters to see if it was faulty then concluded the energy had decided to explore a new option.

The filter unit would light up or blink at me when I entered the room or gazed at it as I passed by. The energy had indeed branched out to a new outlet.

Given that angle, we assumed it was most likely that the filter was working so we let it slide and watched the calendar for the time to switch filters.

I was a bit bothered that the light it chose to activate was red and not green. I wondered if there was any significance but decided that color had not been a problem with my nightlights so I didn't need to create a problem with this. I chose to believe the light simply happens to be red.

The big day arrived and the replacement filter was put into action. We figured everything would revert to normal. And it did, but not for long. Switching filters gave us one day of standard filter operation.

Or I should say Andy got a day of that. I saw it work correctly once and then it stopped. No light, totally unresponsive. He was baffled. It had worked just fine for him. So he reinspected the attachment and it still maintained the non-responsive action. Finally, I suggested we replace the unit as it seemed this one had worn out.

Game on.

Shortly before midnight, the show started. I went into the kitchen for a glass of water. There it was, the red light flashing. However, this time the flashes were quick, sequential bursts. Okay then, the unit still worked. Back to bed. Up again later, just curious, peek into the kitchen. Little bursts of light are still flashing at me from the filter. Busy, this one.

Green, without water running, the light is on.
The kicker is even better. This morning, as I was cleaning out the sink and preparing coffee, the light came on - measured and solid - four steady flashes: Green. The energy had finally configured the dynamic required to activate the green light.

We're having fun with it now. It likes to show me the green light and it is giving Andy a red light. Then, when he turns the water on, it displays alternate flickers of red and green.

The wonder is ever present. When we choose to be curious and explore rather than try to give it a preset or a projection of what a thing is supposed to be we can learn what it might become.

For now, the energy is constantly engaged with me through my nightlights and another aspect of that is beginning to develop a new facet of that relationship via the faucet water filter.

Delightful - this wonder of becoming: MORE.

Honestly, no matter what the appearance - it isn't about the light show. It's about the energy in our midst and the call to us to start giving it more attention and awareness. This is how we evolve.

Going forward with this adventure, we are going to see if there IS a difference between the colors and whether that has any significance. For me, the wonder is that it happens at all. That's a whole lotta special in and of itself.

Hey Dorothy! We were never in Kansas. Oz simply takes whatever form is required to get each and every little spec to do the required homework so that one day they can step up to the plate and knock it out of the park. That's how sparks fly!

Practice doesn't have to be work. We are being shown how the practice of becoming spiritually aware can be so much more fun when we let go of our limitations. Imagine up. Here's to fun!
